Thomas Parkinson

President
Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Sifter Solutions
Thomas co-founded Sifter with his brother, Andrew. As Chief Product Officer, he has a passion for creating unique online experiences. This zeal started with Peapod, one of the first and oldest e-commerce companies, launched in 1989 with Andrew. The brothers also co-founded ItemMaster, which sold in 2019. Thomas’ career has focused on advanced software development, and he has a MS in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and a BA from Wesleyan University, CT. His favorite sport is kiteboarding, and he plays in a rock band, Who’s Your Daddy. He currently sifts on a combination of Diabetes, Gluten Free, and Dairy-None.

Andrew Parkinson

Secretary and Treasurer 
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sifter Solutions
Andrew co-founded Sifter Solutions with brother Thomas to follow his passion of making healthy eating easy for everyone and currently serves as the company’s CEO. No stranger to innovative shopping platforms, the brothers created the world’s first e-commerce company, Peapod, in 1989. It sold to Royal Ahold in 2001, after which Andrew led Peapod-spinoff ItemMaster, a product data and dietary attribution platform. His early career included marketing positions at P&G and Kraft. He’s a Wesleyan University, CT, grad with an economics and econometrics degree. Andrew, who follows a low FODMAP diet, enjoys many sports, particularly hockey, foiling, kiteboarding and a Chowdy Lifestyle.

Maura Plante

Vice Chair
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Living Hungry
Maura is a passionate believer in the power of food to be able to transform the lives of children and people who are going hungry in South Florida. She is the founder of Living Hungry, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that all “at risk” children and teenagers living in poverty in south Florida have quality food andfresh produce. A dynamic, “can do-we will make it happen person”, Maura believes that every child should receive the nutrition they need so they are able to realize their full potential and this will nurture and enable them to live out their dreams.

Maura’s career history spans 20 years in the corporate arena for Fortune 500 companies such as Comcast, Cablevision, Adelphia, Prodigy, MCI and Singapore Telecom. This executive level experience included product development and consumer marketing. Her expertise in technology, internet, new media, TV and telecoms provided her with the foundation for designing and implementing high impact, cost effective programs.

Maura, a graduate of Georgetown University, with a master’s degree in Psychology from Columbia University, is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin and is a published author on Domestic Violence and Chinese culture.

Lynn Gettleman Chehab

Director
MD, Master of Public Health, Diplomate American Board of Obesity Medicine
 Lynn Gettleman Chehab, MD, MPH, Diplomate ABOM, is a pediatrician who has focused on healthy weight management at both the individual and community level for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Stanford University Medical School. After her residency in pediatrics at University of California San Francisco and Mt. Sinai Hospitals, Dr. Gettleman Chehab completed a master’s in public health and a fellowship in urban community health at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Gettleman Chehab serves as an advisor to the Evanston Health Department as well as local schools to help promote simple, evidence-based messages that truly impact health. You can see her Rethink Your Drink materials all around Evanston and Skokie in schools, local businesses, community centers, and many other public spaces. She can often be seen giving talks about the impact of diet, sleep, and stress on weight to both colleagues and the greater community at local schools, hospitals, and organizations.

She is also a 2019 Presidential Leadership Scholar, a national leadership program sponsored by the presidential centers of George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Lyndon Johnson.

My passion is helping patients and their families make small evidence-based changes that have a huge impact on improving their health. Helping patients develop healthy habits when they are young–with a focus on better eating, better sleep, and better ways to cope with stress, will greatly improve their daily living as well greatly decrease their risk for a myriad of unhealthy conditions and diseases."

Stacy Conrad

Healthcare Strategy & Innovation Executive |Advocate for Food-as-Medicine Transformation 
Stacy Conrad is a healthcare strategy and innovation executive with more than two decades of experience advancing clinically integrated, outcomes-driven care models. As President of Conrad & Conrad Healthcare Consulting, she has led major initiatives in value-based contracting, data-driven strategy, and healthcare commercialization—including the launch of Aurora Health Care’s first provider-led insurance company. Most recently, Stacy served as Interim Chief Commercial Officer for Food For Health, a leading Food is Medicine organization focused on improving nutrition access and reducing the impact of chronic disease. Through her work with Food For Health, she was introduced to the Food is Medicine Coalition and was honored to contribute to the Coding4Food initiative—advancing the development of standardized frameworks for clinical integration and reimbursement of medically tailored nutrition programs.

She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to advancing healthcare innovation that improves lives and strengthens communities.
